Wedding pictures in the dark

The first location, Wilton Crescent was brighter and more evenly lit than anticipated and almost looks like a movie set, whilst the second location near Buckingham Palace was much darker!

As an extra bonus picture, we turned and shot with the Palace as a background.

For both locations, I used Pocket Wizards to trigger off camera flash with full CT gels and either a small softbox or the Stofen diffuser box. Not bad for shooting in the dark.

Dress rehearsal - just about . . .

Nothing like returning from a large and complicated wedding at 1am, getting to bed after the usual wind down at 2am and having a rare lie in to 1030am on the Sunday morning - to be alerted to the fact that I should have delivered Hannah to a full Mr Fox dress rehearsal at 11am at 1145am!!! Oops and all hands on deck to get Hannah, myself and a packed lunch out the door in next to no time . . . in the end I delivered Hannah to the rehearsal at 1208pm and most of the girls were still in make up - so what was the panic?
