Retail Therapy Weekend

As the title suggests we found ourselves at a variety of local and not so local retail outlets this weekend. We didn't go bananas but were able to pick up a few choice bits and pieces - including a couple of informal shirts, Hannah tops and a mop head that Sinead wanted!!! Evelyn was with us for most of the weekend - Fagin permitting - and it was lovely to share many laughs along the way. I even bumped into Lisa, Nimrod and Sophia (wedding clients) at a newly refurbished pub in Shenley.

On Sunday afternoon we ended up at the Castle Inn on Harrow on the Hill and Evelyn joined use for a drink before collecting Lju from Heathrow.

A quick note about the pictures above . . . the jet about to crash into St Mary's, Harrow on the Hill was seen and shot from the roof of the St George's Centre car park. I had to start the camera and zoom to 210mm and shoot - all quick and responsive and shot on P programme. The next is a surviving 30s exterior of a once popular dance hall, on Station Road, Harrow - 35mm. Hannah munching cheddar McCoys - doesn't need further explanation! Hannah tries her hand at portraiture (love the stubble, darling!) with me as the subject - not bad but I will still encourage her to get a real job! The last image is a long lens shot looking west along West Street, Harrow on the Hill.

All shot with the Canon G9, all jpgs, minimal adjustments in Lightroom - and I mean minimal!
