How come . . .

. . . the best driving pictures are always "seen" from the driver's seat, on the M1, at dusk whilst driving!?! Yet another series of images for the taking? All I need is a tame driver as all close relatives or friends DON'T drive - strange that! There have been so many occasions when I have been stuck in traffic and been in almost the perfect position with the dusk light adding to the atmosphere, only to pause too long and be beeped from behind as I fumble for the camera! Not something you want in Knightsbridge, the City or in downtown Harrow. Thankfully digital makes these sorts of images so much easier to capture as on can immediately see the combination of shutter speed, aperture and "film" speed (iso) to create the perfect balance.

Shot on England's backbone, the M1 returning from Luton Airport after Christmas this year with the Ricoh GR and a two frame comp. All I need to do is train Hannah to shoot this type of shot or teach her to drive - not sure which would/will be the easier?
